Formerly a racing yacht, the Freight Train had a memorable career in which she won many races, including those of the Kenwood Cup in Hawaii, Sydney to Hobart Race and the Sir James Hardy Northern Islands Race.

Spend 2 glorious days and 2 nights exploring the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands aboard the racing yacht, Freight Train. Freight Train is made of aluminium to allow for a light, strong construction to enable speed when needed and a stable and reliable hull.

Freight Train is available for Corporate Team Building, offshore racing regattas and extended private charter, allowing for all types of guests to cruise the Whitsundays in luxurious comfort.

A 62ft (18.6 metre) vessel, the Freight Train comfortably boards 16 passengers and 2 crew, who if needed, will guide you through internationally recognized sailing courses.

Itinerary Details

When sailing aboard the Freight Train, there will be ample opportunity for exploring locations by foot and swimming/snorkelling.

Destinations visited can include the famous Whitehaven beach, and the exceptionally breath-taking Mantaray and Blue Pearl Bays. With so many activities in pure luxury, you wouldn't want to sail with anyone else!

Departure and Location

The Freight Train embarks on a magnificent 2 day 2 night sailing experience from Abel Point Marina at 1.00pm Wednesday, Friday & Sundays. Returns: 11.00am.
