Lady Musgrave Island and Lagoon, Cruise in sheer comfort aboard the Spirit of 1770 and enjoy a full day exploring the wonders of Australia's Great Barrier Reef.
Lady Musgrave Island and Lagoon is a true coral cay situated only 32 nautical miles from the Town of 1770. Lady Musgrave National Park is a tropical paradise abundant in pisonia forests and bird life.
The island is set on 3000 acres of living reef with a deepwater coral lagoon which is unique to the entire Great Barrier Reef Region.
The Vessel enters the calm waters of the lagoon and moors only 300 metres from the island.
This provides a protected haven for all age groups to explore the wonders of a living reef eco-system and the colourful variety of marine life - all in one great day.
As part of the scheduled trips to Lady Musgrave Island, we have incorporated about 1 1/2 hours of reef fishing along the outer wall of the island's lagoon. The tour provides all the fishing gear you need and clean your catch ready for you to cook when you come home.
