2 Day Fraser Island Explorer

Discover the fresh water creeks that constantly flow through out the island as you stop off at Wanggoolba Creek. Marvel at the majestic rainforests looming over you as you 4WD across the island in comfort. The two day tour allows you plenty of opportunity to uncover the secrets of this popular island getaway. Visit the historical Central Station, the pristine Lake Birrabeen where you have the opportunity for a swim, the sweeping Seventy Five Mile Beach and stay at Eurong Beach Resort.

Day 1:

Travelling north from Brisbane the group passes the Glass House Mountains and Sunshine Coast before swapping vehicles at Noosaville. Depart Noosa by heading across the Noosa river via cable ferry crossing taking you deep into the Cooloola National Park and highlighting the Teewah or Rainbow Beach coloured sands before stopping for morning tea on the beach. After catching the barge over to Fraser Island we travel along 75 mile Beach before heading to Central Station or Pile Valley for a guided rainforest walk. It’s now time for an Aussie BBQ lunch with beverages, followed by a refreshing swim in either Lake McKenzie or Lake Birrabeen.

Day 2:

Enjoy a buffet breakfast at Eurong Beach Resort before visiting Lake Wabby or Rainbow Gorge Sandblow, then off the infamous Eli Creek for a quick swim. Visit the Maheno Shipwreck and enjoy a bakery fresh lunch before heading down the remote 75 Mile Beach and then travelling back to the ferry across to Rainbow Beach and head home. The tour arrives back to Brisbane at approximately 7.00pm
