This 4 Day/3 Night Dive Cruise boasts a total of 11 dives. The
cruise departs every Tuesday. The itinerary is as follows:
Day 1:
Pick up from Cairns Accommodation at 5pm and transfer to the expedition
yacht Taka. Taka will depart from Cairns Harbour and take you to
the Cold Hole, via the waters of the Great Barrier Reef.
Day 2:
Taka arrives at the Cod Hole at approx. 8am. The first dive is at
Cod Hole. Those who are rusty will soon get back into 'the swing
of things'. See the myriad of fish and other marine life awaiting
you at Cod Hole. After a second dive, you will head down to Ribbon
Reefs, where you will go for an afternoon dive, and a night dive.
Day 3:
Dive the Ribbon Reefs further and see more hard and soft corals and
another abundance of marine life. Giant clams, huge coral gardens
and swim through.
Day 4:
The last 2 dives will take place today, as the end of the trip creeps
closer. The dives will take place on the outer edge of the Great
Barrier Reef and feature unique coral formations and fish life. |
